My order arrived packed really well, so I’ll give credit for that. No dents, no leaks, and everything inside was safe. The box looked neat too. That said, there wasn’t anything especially impressive beyond the packaging, and the unboxing was plain. Still, I’m happy it showed up in good condition.

I’ve been using this for a bit, and I’m sure my hair feels smoother now. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but it definitely seems softer and easier to run my fingers through.

I’ve used the Ella Bella straightener a handful of times now, but after using it again this morning, I’m even more impressed. My hair is thick and usually starts getting frizzy not long after I leave the house, but this made it look smooth without taking forever.

Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying this: the safety features are okay, but it’s definitely not foolproof. I do like that it has an auto shut-off, and the heat glove helps a little, but the outside of the straightener still gets really hot. I have to be super careful about where I set it down so it doesn’t burn anything. It’s not a bad product, I just expected a bit more on the safety side.
